Top notch service. We have been living in our new home for quite some time just accepting the fact that our shower only has two settings. cold and warm. We called Dennis for an unrelated issue for which he is ordering in a part but my wife asked him to just look at our shower and see if there was anything he could do. My bathtub drain was clogged and draining very slow. I googled for ‘plumber in Orangevale’ and found DS Plumber. Called Dennis around 8:30am and he got to the house by 9:45am (today’s even a holiday). He snaked the drain (pulled out lots of hair) and was done in less than an hour. I also had an issue with my kitchen faucet (no cold water/low pressure). Turns out the cold water valve was closed. No charge for that easy fix! Fast, friendly, reliable and reasonably priced. Got a 10% discount for first time customer. Will definitely keep this number handy for future plumbing needs.

These guys deserve 5 stars and up. After having used three other plumbers to diagnose a problem with our downstairs bathroom, Dennis came in and knew exactly what the issue was within the first 10 minutes. He is professional, timely, knowledgeable, respectful of our time and money. He gave us two options of how to approach the issue and actually thought that the less expensive route would be the best route to take. He came in under his initial estimate and really could not have been more of a pleasure to work with overall. These guys are our plumbers going forward for any and all plumbing issues.

I called DS Plumbing at 10am on a Tuesday night because our shower faucet was leaking and we couldn’t stop it. Dennis arrived within 45 minutes and fixed the problem quickly and his fee was reasonable. I would definitely recommend him to my friends.

Have used these guys several times to clear slow drains, de-scale my Rinnai tankless water heater, etc.. They give good advice, and they seem honest, especially compared to other plumbers I have tried. Prices are reasonable. They’re great!

I’m really happy with the service DS Plumbing provided! I woke up on Friday morning and noticed my water heater was leaking all over the floor in the garage. The top of the unit looked a little rusty, and water was pooling on top and spilling over the side. I called DS Plumbing around 8:20 in the morning and left a message. They called me back about 10 minutes later and offered to come out right away to take a look. Their repair technician (Dennis) showed up, looked at the water heater and assessed that it needed to be replaced. (I totally agree with the assessment. It was probably 20 years old.) he could do the work that day after he worked with the schedulers to determine a time. Dennis called back quickly and said he could do the work that morning. He came back minutes later with the new water heater and started installing it. Dennis completed the work in 2 hours. The work included a new 38 gallon Rheem tank with 2 water flex lines, a gas flex line, earthquake strapping, a new valve, a little bit of copper work, and hooking up the flue. He took the old tank away and left the place really clean. The entire job, from the time I first called to the time the job was done was about 3 hours.

Our water heater gave out last week and we were frantically calling around to have it replaced. DS Plumbing truly lives up to its name! They were able to help diagnose the problem over the phone and Dennis stopped by within hours to take a look in person. Our house is very difficult to service as we live on a hill and up a narrow staircase, but they were able to get the whole job done in a matter of hours at a very reasonable price. Dennis was super friendly and answered our many questions with a smile on his face. So happy to have hot water again! Highly recommend!

Okay, where can I buy a 6th star? My tankless water heater decided to go on strike this week and I found myself back at Yelp’s Request a Quote. Not sure why I didn’t call DS Plumbing first and only, but I blame it on the early weekday morning wanting a hot shower while feeling sick at home frustration. DS Plumber once again emerged as the leader. They are fair and fast and just about the nicest guys you could meet. For the second time, I got great creative solutions in the interim to buy me time (and hot water) until the problem could be addressed properly and be fixed. I didn’t think getting a new tankless heater could be so painless. I also loved that they let me dork out and ask all sorts of questions about how it all works.
